Help Protect Hearts in Ireland

I am taking part in 12 Dips in December to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. ❤️

The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.

Your donation will make a real difference to people and families affected by heart disease and stroke.

Thank you for visiting my page and for your support.

The reason I am doing 12 dips :)

💔 12 Dips in December – For Hearts That Need Hope 💔
This December, I’m taking on the 12 Dips in December Challenge — but with a twist.
This year, I’ll be doing 12 icy dips in 12 different locations in Ireland to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation.
I’ve always loved the sea — its calm, its wildness, its way of reminding you how alive you are. But this challenge means more than just facing the cold. One of my very close relatives suffered two heart attacks in a row, and seeing that up close changes everything. It makes you realise how precious every heartbeat truly is. ❤️
So every freezing dip will be for them — and for everyone whose lives have been touched by heart disease. For the fighters, the survivors, and the families who’ve lost someone they love.
Here are the 12 beautiful (and probably freezing!) spots I’ll be dipping in this December:
1. Clogherhead Beach 🐚
2. Termonfeckin Beach 🌊
3. Baltray Beach 🏖️
4. Mornington Beach 🌅
5. Bettystown Beach 🐬
6. Laytown Beach 🌤️
7. Seapoint, Termonfeckin 🌾
8. Annagassan Shore 🌊
9. Port Beach, Clogherhead 🪸
10. Salterstown Pier 🌤️
11. Blackrock Beach (Louth) 🌊
12. The Boyne Estuary (near Maiden Tower) 💙
Each dip will be cold, wild, and meaningful — a tribute to everyone fighting heart disease and a reminder of the power of community, compassion, and courage.
If you can, please donate and help me make every shiver count for the Irish Heart Foundation.
Your support funds life-saving research and care for those living with heart conditions across Ireland.
Thank you from the bottom of my (very cold) heart ❤️
