Walking, Running & Jogging for the Hearts that Can't

I am taking part in 60 in September to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. ❤️

The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.

Your donation will make a real difference to people and families affected by heart disease and stroke.
We are here for every heartbeat.

Thank you for visiting my page and for your support.

What if

Wednesday 2nd Sep
Few years back, I've found out that I have a congenital heart defect & POTS.
Here’s the thing: I’ve been lucky. I’ve never needed the Irish Heart Foundation’s direct support, not yet at least.
But “lucky” is doing a lot of work in that sentence.
Living with a CHD means every checkup carries a flicker of "what if" . It means understanding, from a young age, that my heart is doing something slightly different than everyone else’s — and that difference could go a very different way.
I don’t need their support at the moment. But I know exactly how much it would matter if I had.
That’s why I’m raising money for them — not out of guilt, but out of gratitude.
Every euro supports families navigating a heart disease diagnosis, and keeps vital cardiac services running for people across Ireland who don’t get to say “I never needed it.”
If you’ve ever been glad your heart just… works, consider chipping in. It adds up to something real.
