I am taking part in 60 in September to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. ❤️

Hi all, back at it after a little break..  just a short 3km today in the company of my scuffy  woofer Frank… he is overdue a haircut!… Hope you’re all enjoying this lovely late burst of Summer…

Fabulous little walk today on the Sheana Mhach Bog  Trails Casla .. in the company of my cousin Bridie & Maura..  always nice to have company ..  
if your ever out  this way check these trails out. 
6km done today …

Hi everyone 
A very Wet Wild & Windy West today… met  absolutely no one on the road today… and rather silly of me took a different route than usual that didn’t take me past the pub… didn’t think that one through did I , because if I had I could have taken refuge when the skies  opened and treated myself to a hot whiskey… Tomorrow I will make better route planning decisions 😄

Absolutely lovely morning here in the West… out nice and early managed 6km  with a bit of a rest… goddamn hip !

5km this evening .. found that hard going back and hips giving me gip… no matter we push on.. why  can’t i post photos of the sights Im coming across… what am i doing wrong ?

Hi all
after having a rest day yesterday managed to get in 5km today.. I had my lovely friend Gwen and her adorable pooch Teddy for company today .. I may steal him
Nice gentle walk along the bog road in Leckhaun..  Also, my total so far on my page doesn’t reflect the cash donations I’ve received..,  I’ll add them at the end of the challenge ( €100) .., keep minding those big beautiful hearts … have a great week x

Nice flat walk from Barna Pier to Barna Woods and back today…. still haven’t sussed out how to upload photos of my walk to this .. maybe it’s not doable … anyhoo

Thursday 3rd Sep
Day 3….  No Day 2 rain stopped play 
Managed just 5km today… I’m
full of cold , that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it 😀
Another bimble around Leitir Mòr, met a few folks along the way, nice to chat.. Walked on a pathway I thought was open to the public only to discover the gate was locked at the end … I’ve now added scaling walls to my talents!.. lesson learned 😄

Walk took longer than I thought … kept bumping into people I knew which was lovely,  
I’ll post photos when I’ve sussed out how to do it…I’m such a dinosaur   🤦‍♀️

Today would have been my sister Mary’s birthday, and as I’m walking in her memory ( & my Dads) it has added a special poignancy for the days that’s in it.
