Wednesday 5th Aug I had a major heart attack on the 30th September 2025. The typical name was a widowmaker. My wonderful cardiologist, cardiology rehab team and my absolutely fantastic GP have all said I’m lucky to be alive. I have two stents and I’m now on multiple medications. I always thought my diet was pretty good but have now improved this further and have adopted strength training alongside walking. If you can donate, no matter how small I would be so grateful. 1 in 4 women will die of a heart attack. We never complain as women and put everything down to menopause.
