Help Protect Hearts in Ireland
I am taking part in Arctic Challenge to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. ❤️
This charity is very close to my heart as in 1998 my Dad, Paul passed away due to a heart attack when he was only 54. It was a huge loss to my family. We remember him fondly and indeed my Mam who we lost only two years later to cancer. Both in their 50's and both so young. They missed out on so much of our family life. But then last year we lost my fun loving cousin, Keith at the age of 44. I know he would think I'm absolutely mad doing this challenge but I know he would be out there helping me to fundraise too. He had such a big heart full of fun and kindness.
As I'm now in my 50's too, I feel very privileged to be able to join a small team taking on the Arctic Circle Challenge. To fundraise for this great cause and support my Arctic Circle Challenge my family will come together to host a coffee morning and cupcakes sale on October 11th. I hope you will be able to drop by and support us or donate online.
Every donation counts, no matter how big or small as it all adds up and will get me to truly challenge myself on this Arctic Circle Challenge.
The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.
