Walking, Running & Jogging for the Hearts that Can't

I am taking part in 60 in September to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. ❤️

The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.

Your donation will make a real difference to people and families affected by heart disease and stroke.
We are here for every heartbeat.

Thank you for visiting my page and for your support.

Doing it for wee cece!!

Thursday 10th Sep

As a child, I spent far too much time in hospital because of my heart. This photo brings back memories of those days — but also reminds me that, despite everything, there was still a little girl who could smile, laugh and find comfort surrounded by her cuddly toys. ❤️

Now, all these years later, I’m taking on this walk to raise money for the Irish Heart Foundation. After living with a heart condition all my life and knowing what it is like to spend so much of your childhood in and out of hospital, this cause is very close to my heart. Every step I take is a small thank you for the care I received and a way of giving something back to help others affected by heart disease. ❤️🚶‍♀️”

You Can’t Kill a Bad Thing!

Monday 31st Aug

Many of you will know that I’ve had a bad heart all my life. Poor aul Mack and Mamie spent far too much money getting me fixed up over the years, never mind the amount of worry I’ve caused my family! 😂❤️

I’ve been giving people PTSD for years — dying, coming back around and somehow managing to keep going. Sure, ya can’t kill a bad thing! 😂

So, while I’m trying to get myself a bit fitter and healthier, I thought I’d put all those steps to good use and raise a wee bit of money for the Irish Heart Foundation.

It’s a charity that means a lot to me, for obvious reasons, and if my getting fitter can help raise a few euro to support the amazing work they do, then even better. ❤️

Every donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to me.

Thanks a million for all the love, encouragement and support. ❤️
