I am taking part in 12 Dips in December to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. 

The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.

Your donation will make a real difference to people and families affected by heart disease and stroke.

Swim 11+12!

Friday 12th Dec
As I was 1 swim behind, today I doubled my usual time of 5 minutes to 12 minutes so hopefully that’s accepted as my 12th swim😂! Sun was out and the water was 10.7°C, what a day to finish on!

Thursday 11th Dec
Woohoo the fundraising goal was initially €200! I’m so thrilled and very grateful for everyone’s generosity to be able to raise €1000 for Irish Heart. Tomorrow is the last day, with two swims to bring me to the 12 dips❤️

In the rain but not too cold! 10.7°C. 4 mins in👍🏼

Wednesday 10th Dec
10.6°C today, 5 minutes. I met a lovely lady taking part in the 12 dips for pieta house who took this picture for me! 3 swims left to go and nearly at my target of €1000!!

Tuesday 9th Dec
Absolutely blown away by everyone’s support. €850 target reached! With 4 swims left to go I’m going to go for gold and set the final goal for €1000

Really didn’t want to do this one this morning! Got in before the storm, the water was 10.5°C and quite calm! 5 minutes in👍🏼

Monday 8th Dec
Solo swim for no.7! The sun was shining which made it much warmer ☀️. 5 minutes in and the water was 10.6°C!

Dunked the head for swim 6. 10.5°C and 5 minutes! Thank you to Ciara for joining me!

Friday 5th Dec
Calm before the storm! A very quick dip today before the rain came… 10.4°C but the wind was 🥶. Done and dusted for swim 5!
