The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.

Saturday 27th Dec
Feeling much better and pushed it to 10 minutes in the ice bath.. 4.7 degrees in the water. Deep breaths and a clear head essential..

Day 26, 26th Dip

Friday 26th Dec
Coming through a bit of a cold. Still dipping each day.. tapered off the time per dip for a few days., but back in at 7 minutes today and feeling good..

20th December 20th Dip

Saturday 20th Dec
Still going with it daily. 20th December 20th Dip. A dip a day and also Cold showers only in December. I’ve slowed on the updates as have received a very generous amount of donations. And the 12 dips are done. We will keep going for the 31days!!!

Day 12

Saturday 13th Dec
That’s 12 dips done in 12 days!! We will keep going till December is out. Cold showers only and hopefully a dip a day!!

Day 11

Thursday 11th Dec
Dip one day 11, a quick visit to the Hotbox sauna in inchicore. Nice bit of contrast between hot and cold. The ice tub is cold and deep which makes a big change. 7 minutes at 5 degrees was tough enough., had the shivers for a hour afterwards!!!

Day 10

Thursday 11th Dec
Started the day with a cold shower and 7 minutes in the tub tonight. A little warmer this evening..

Day 9

Wednesday 10th Dec
7 minutes in the Tub on a blustery night..

Day 8

Monday 8th Dec
A couple of 6 minute dips this evening. 12 cold minutes in the tub!!

Sunday Night 1 week done.

7 days, 7 dips..

Saturday 6th Dec
Early morning after the Christmas part.. no better way to shake off the cob webs!!! A couple of 5 minute dips..

Nice evening. Back in the ice batch for day 4. 2 little 5 minute dips.. a little warmer tonight in the water..

A slightly warmer evening with a bit of drizzle., 2 5 minute dips at a lovely 6 degrees!

Day 2 started with a cold shower this morning and a dip in the tub this evening. A lovely 5 degrees in the tub.

Jumped in for another dip this evening. Water temp dropping to a lower 4.7 degrees! It will be a dip a day whether sea or ice tub in December.. And Cold Showers only!!

Hello guys, A chilly 5 minutes at 7 degrees in the tub at 5.45am kicking of my Dips for December. I will hope to do a dip a day whether in the cold tub or if I can make it to the Sea.
