Training Update - 2 Weeks In
Sunday 18th JanTwo weeks into training for my Run 100km in February challenge and I’m making good progress so far.
Having not run properly in over three years, the biggest challenge was just getting started.
In the past fortnight I’ve clocked up 30km of running and nearly 40,000 steps in just under 3.5 hours; legs are sore, lungs have been burning, but getting better by the day!
Just as importantly, with the generosity of friends, family and supporters, €327 has already been raised to support the work of The Irish Heart Foundation.
I can’t thank you enough for the encouragement and donations so far, it’s making every kilometre a little easier.
There’s a long way to go yet, but momentum is good. Thanks again to everyone who has supported me so far, your backing means a lot 🏃♂️
