Dip 12

Wednesday 7th Jan
Finished my dips on the 26th after poppin down to the Dun Laoghaire baths with some mates, none of whom joined me by getting in. Like the 24th, the sea was very rough so I wasn't able to get too far in but I did get soaked regardless. All 12 were a lot of fun altogether, would definitely recommend. Job done.

Wednesday 7th Jan
On Christmas morning, I joined my mam and her sea swim group who normally go down every Friday morning. Joined by loads of folks down for a Christmas swim, still absolutely baltic. Cheers to whoever brought the hot chocolate. Job done.

Dip 10

Wednesday 7th Jan
When I went down for a swim on Christmas Eve, I found myself unable to get in due to the craziness of the waves. Nevertheless, it didn't stop me from getting some sort of dip, got myself splashed a good bit by some of the big waves. Job done.

Wednesday 7th Jan
Back to the Helios Sauna for number 9 with Mark before work on the 19th. Always nice to have someone else to share in the pain of the freezing cold. Job done.

Wednesday 7th Jan
Couldn't make it out for a dip on the 17th but a cold shower made do. Was very nice to be able to switch it to nice and hot to warm up after. Job done.

Tuesday 16th Dec
I squeezed in a dip before a 12 pubs adventure. Went to the Helios Sauna in Dundrum on the 15th. Not the best pics as I was on my own, but the ice bath was absolutely freezing. The sauna was very nice to jump into after. Job done.

Dip 6

Tuesday 16th Dec
We returned to the Dun Laoghaire baths once more on the 11th. Was pissin rain but at least it was light out. Olwyn and Adam return to accompany us. Waves were crazy but we're goated so no worries. Job done.

Dip 5

Tuesday 16th Dec
Number 5 was interesting. Me and Senan went down to the Dun Laoghaire baths in the evening of the 10th, already pitch black. Olwyn and Adam were with us for moral support. We got all in with the slop and slime. Job done.

Dip 4

Tuesday 16th Dec
Dip 4 was our third trip to Seapoint, on the 9th. Senan was back to join Shane and myself. Waves were a little crazy with the storm but nothing we couldn't handle 😏. Job done.

Tuesday 16th Dec
My third dip was on the 8th of December. Just me and Shane again, also in Seapoint again. Shane captured some beautiful pics of my tiny little head bobbing along. Job done.

Dip 2

Tuesday 16th Dec
Second dip was on the 5th of December. Senan was not present, was just me and Shane. We popped down to Seapoint, in and out, job done.

Tuesday 16th Dec
My first dip was on the 3rd of December. I was accompanied by Shane and Senan (who is also doing the 12 dips and who went in in his feckin jocks). We had a quick dip in the Forty Foot, job done.
