just like that WE ARE DONE. Had to finish a little early as i’m going away today, cheeky 5k done just before going to the airport. bosh

Day 24/28: 5.5KM

Monday 24th Feb
Light work. (I stopped twice)…. the end is near. it’s bittersweet (it’s just sweet). 5 to go.

Day 23/28: 10.4KM

Sunday 23rd Feb
Well now… that was actually meant to be a 3k, just kept going. Glad I did because feel pure great after that. Not long left now. 10.5 to go.

Day 22/28: 6KM

Saturday 22nd Feb
I know what the picture says but i ran an extra 0.1KM the other day so we’re rounding this one. not gonna lie, this run for whatever reason killed me. very hard but we finished all the same. 21 to go.

Day 21/28: 12KM

Friday 21st Feb
Well well well. nearly back on track. after tomorrow we will be and honestly we are buzzing. (we is myself and the demons i’ve fought on these runs). 27 to go.

Day 18/28: 6KM

Tuesday 18th Feb
That was a nice run, finally getting back to normal now. Feel v good after that one. Only 10 days left now, end nearly in sight. 39 to go.

Day 16/28: 6KM

Sunday 16th Feb
Late unplanned one tonight. was going back and forth on it all night and finally realised that in the time i was taking to decided i would have been back already so just got up and ran. that was a bit good. finally over the halfway mark too. 45 to go

Day 15/28: 9KM

Saturday 15th Feb
Got out and did a few. Still not back to 100% but we’re getting there slowly but surely. 51 to go.

Day 13/28: 13.4KM

Thursday 13th Feb
WE SO BACK. now i must say i came back home to a coughing fit that lasted nearly as long as the run…. worth it. we are so back.. not quite on track with the distance I wanted to be at this far into the month but we’ll pull it back over the next few days. 60 to go.

Day 11/28: Help

Very unfortunate time to fall sick. Still the same story. Hopefully better soon

Day 8/28: 2.6KM

Saturday 8th Feb
Back at it, barely. lads that was the worst experience of my life. defo too early to be back out running but still glad i did something. 73.4 to go.

Day 7/28: Rest… again

Friday 7th Feb
I know I said I’d do something today but I just didn’t… Still not 100% but tomorrow is the day for sure, gonna get in a cheeky few and hopefully get back on track.

Day 6/28: Rest

Thursday 6th Feb
Sooooo. We’re not doing very good. I think that “cold” is actually a chest infection. I don’t mind too much because i’m still on track with my plans which is running 25KM per week, currently on 24 with another full day left so no matter what i’m gonna have to run 1KM tomorrow which may or may not be the hardest thing i’ve ever done. We’ll see.

Day 5/28: Rest

Wednesday 5th Feb
Feel worse than I did yesterday, definitely came down with some sort of cold. I think tomorrow I’m gonna take it easy. We’ll still get a few KM into the legs but probably only 3/4 at an easy pace.

Day 4/28: Rest

Wednesday 5th Feb
No run today, took it easy and chilled out. May or may not be coming down with some sort of sickness but let’s ignore that and hopefully we’re good tomorrow. 

Day 3/28: 8KM

Monday 3rd Feb
Took it very slow today as my knees are that of an 80 year old man lately but a 6:57 pace is better than no pace at all. happy monday. 76 to go.

Day 2/28: 3KM

Sunday 2nd Feb
Slow easy one to recover a bit from yesterday. Hips in bits but we move. 84 to go

Day 1/28: 13KM

Saturday 1st Feb
13km done & dusted. Feeling good after that one, few PR’s set too. 87 to go.
