Walking, Running & Jogging for the Hearts that Can't

I am taking part in 60 in September to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. ❤️

The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.

Your donation will make a real difference to people and families affected by heart disease and stroke.
We are here for every heartbeat.

Thank you for visiting my page and for your support.

The “Why” Behind the Challenge

Wednesday 30th Sep
I decided to take on the “60 in September” challenge for a number of reasons, but mainly due to the degree in which heart disease has affected my immediate family. Watching the ones you love fight a progressive and inevitably fatal disease is one of the hardest things to witness. Running is hard, but losing a family member is harder. I’m doing this challenge to remind myself of the fact that we can do hard things. The Irish Heart Foundation does incredible work, and being able to give back through a challenge that is essentially a personal triple entendre, is a privilege.
