Day14

Monday 14th Sep
Day 14

Morning y’all ,
A dull drizzly morn. But I don’t mind the rain..
I ran up around the Glengarriff woods and it is so beautiful there even on drizzly days. I usually run around the left hand side of the woods but I ran up the right side today and it was fab and hilly, saw a beautiful waterfall, came down and finished around the Meadow walk 🤩
 It’s a special place.
All good, another 2 miles off the clock.
Getting more used to the runs. Still feeling the effects of the weekend but it’s not as hard as it was at the start of September.
Roll on 60 in September.

Day13

Sunday 13th Sep
Uu
What a morning in wild and wonderful Co Clare. It was lovely misty rain, it defiantly helped with the run. I was very tired and my legs were heavy. I was dancing until 2 in the morning at Sarah & Diarmuid’s very special day ❤️❤️
I woke at the usual time and could not go back to sleep, lying in bed I was thinking when would I be able to run around the beautiful rugged Co Clare again, I felt it calling me.😍😍
I ran towards the coast, went as far as I could, headed back for the main road again and away from the hotel. Don’t know where I was going but it’s so flat there and the roads are straight  and go on for ever. Turned around after a mile and a half ish and came back towards the  hotel till I hit the two miles.  Walked home then. It’s so wild there. The sea is loud, big waves, surfers out. Amazing Ireland and amazing Spanish point..
Got it done. Delighted with myself. All on my lonesome, but I wasn’t up for much so maybe better to have been alone..
a fantastic weekend from start to finish.
Back to beautiful west Cork now 😎🙌
Chat tomorrow y’all 🥰
