Walk 100km with your Dog in June

Help Protect Hearts in Ireland

Celebrating John today and remembering him so much in this weather, which brought so much happiness and activity into his life.
We can probably one of the songs chosen for his funeral was "Here comes the Sun" .
So John we really hope you are enjoying the sun where ever you are roaming happy and free.
Again this year I'm doing the 100Km with Cooper and Coco to protect hearts in Ireland. ❤❤❤ Your donation will help save lives from heart disease and stroke.
I am walking this to celebrate and remember John, Dad and a school friend Catherine Brosnan. Always loved and remembered.

Day 28 walk from home 4.4km - 116km comppleted

Saturday 28th Jun
Lovely walk to village for a coffee with my husband before his golf competition and then a gorgeous walk through Knocksink SAC and back home. Dogs enjoyed their swim and I am so grateful that I have them as they get me out in nature and its so rewarding to do with walk to raise awareness and think about Dad and John. Well done Cooper and Coco.

Day 27 - 4.55km (111km done in total)

Saturday 28th Jun
A lovely walk & chat around UCD with Anne, thanks Anne for walking with me!  I cannot get over how big the campus is now with all the new buildings etc. Cooper and Coco loved it.  I am sure we did more than 4.55 as we stopped for coffee and I forgot to set my fitbit and to take a snap!  Cooper did great work meeting and greeting and raising awareness for @irishheartfoundation

Day 26 - 5.1km Achieved 107km

Thursday 26th Jun
So we decided to head for the hills for an early morning hike. And just when I turned back & planned to take a photo my 2 not so best friends decided to run into the woods after something. So they were MIA for a good 25 mins a more before they found me. Didn't do my heart any favours. Id say they clocked some KMs..suffice to say they have out for the count since. Thanks Dad and John for always minding me, wherever you are. Big hug miss you loads and thanks for walking the 106km with me and every other step when I need it. @irishheartfoundation

Day 25 - 5.4km Target archived 101.7km

Thursday 26th Jun
So we are on the last stretch... I did a run with my 2 four legged besties so I didn't have my phone. But 5.4km done on the gorgeous Riverwalk at Powerscourt Estate and a few dips in the river for Cooper and Coco and a well earned coffee for me!

Day 24 - 4km completed 96.7km

Thursday 26th Jun
A fab 4km walk on the Riverwalk with a very good friend who is going through a very hard health issue, but her positivity, laughter, strength and sanity being out in nature is making all the difference to her recovery.  It was an honour to be one of the few that you can mix with at the moment.  And we had 3 4 legged buddies with us.
