Why I’m doing this!
Tuesday 1st Sep In 2019 I suffered a heart attack at the age of 45. It was terrifying. I had a stint fitted and after a few months life returned to a new normal. I had a cardiac rehab program and it was fabulous. It gave the confidence to return to work. Unfortunately in August 2023 I suffered a stroke causing temporary paralysis on my right side and after seeing the team and with lots of rehab I only have a light deficit in my pointer finger on my right hand. I, once again returned to work after the help and support of the Irish heart and stroke foundation. I returned to work on a part time basis and I am now living my life as well as any 52 yr old and making the most of every day. Life has been challenging but with the support of the Irish heat foundation my family and I are doing great. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
