One Last Update ❤️
Sunday 20th SepAs September comes to an end, I wanted to share one final update on my 60 in September challenge for the Irish Heart Foundation.
This challenge is particularly meaningful to me because I’m doing it in memory of my nana, who sadly passed away due to coronary heart disease.
Coronary heart disease happens when the coronary arteries, which supply blood and oxygen to the heart, become narrowed or blocked. This is usually caused by a build-up of fatty deposits inside the arteries, which can restrict blood flow to the heart.
Losing my nana has made heart disease something that feels very personal to me, and it’s one of the reasons I wanted to take part in this challenge and help raise awareness and support the work of the Irish Heart Foundation.
I’m delighted to have raised €269 so far and completed 55km of walking and cycling throughout the challenge. 🚶♂️🚴♂️
I’m genuinely so grateful to everyone who has donated, shared my fundraiser, or simply checked in to see how I was getting on. Every bit of support has meant a lot to me and has helped keep me motivated throughout the month.
The Irish Heart Foundation works to prevent avoidable death and disability from heart disease and stroke, while supporting people and families living with these conditions.
If you’d still like to support my fundraiser, any donation, no matter how small, would mean a lot and would help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me throughout this challenge, and especially to everyone who has helped me do this in memory of my nana. ❤️
Irish Heart Foundation Fundraising Update
Wednesday 2nd SepI’m delighted to share an update on my 60 in September challenge in support of the Irish Heart Foundation. ❤️
So far, I have raised an amazing €251, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated and supported me along the way. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps support the important work of the Irish Heart Foundation and makes a difference to people and families affected by heart disease and stroke.
As part of the challenge, I have also been keeping active and recently completed a total of 33km.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported my fundraising so far. There is still plenty more to come throughout September, and I’m looking forward to continuing the challenge and raising even more for the Irish Heart Foundation! ❤️
