Dip 5 - Dun Laoirghe Baths / Day Time

Thursday 11th Dec No more sludge and green water. The essence of the baths were completely different from last night. We arrived to find the waves thrashing and bashing off the death rocks. The water was grey and left behind debris from its hits. The closer we got to the pier the more the ocean spat at us and left behind a salty hue that lingered in the air, almost like a warning. This dip was my favourite so far, I found myself jumping back in again and again. The water shoes helped too… Share

Dip 4 - Dun Laoirghe Baths / Night Time

Wednesday 10th Dec The pitch black, the sludge and the dark green water all made for an interesting expericance with Jack. It was nice to have Olwinn and Adam there too supporting us. These pictures make it look like we’re swimming in a sewer though. But it was all worth it. Going to be hitting this spot up again tomorrow but this time in the day time. Not to mention it’s a really nice spot for a dip due to it being so close to the train station.  Share

Dip 3 - Sea Point

Tuesday 9th Dec Sea point was “back to formula” so to speak. Back to the cold harsh ocean. It was a bit choppy but honestly not too bad. I can feel them starting to get easier as time goes all. But that first initial dip is always a bitch. With the crew this time again; Jack and Shane.  Share

Dip 2 - Blaze Sauna

Tuesday 9th Dec The second dip was something I had been meaning to do for ages. The Blaze sauna that opened up in my area, Coolmine Industrial Estate, had cold plunge pools and a sauna. The staff were really nice and high recommend people check it out if they’re local. But it was nice doing a dip and getting straight back into the warmth.  Share

Tuesday 9th Dec The first one is always the hardest. I remember it being a lot easier ahaha but doing it with the lads makes it much easier and makes some great memories.  Share

Purpose

Saturday 22nd Nov I want to take advantage of my young age and the advantages that come with that to good use to help people in need. I want to use my time here to help as many people as I can, this is my purpose.  A wise man once said; “with great power, comes great responsibility”.  Share
