Third dip

Thursday 4th Dec Heart and stroke foundation means a lot to me. When I was 16 my dad had a stroke that changed the whole family's lives in a lot of ways... - My dip this morning was a cold one! I had to walk quite a ways before I hit the water and then some more to get any kind of depth. I had to use my breath to stay centered and ended up doing a low plank just to get my body in the water. Aww so many adventures. Share

Wednesday 3rd Dec Then I realized that it's for heart and stroke foundation which made me even more excited to participate. I've fundraised for them in the past but in a more silent way. (Definitely Not posting anything on social media) - Today's dip was a bit colder being in the Galway Bay. Had fun though as the waves pushed me back to shore Share

First cold plunge!

Tuesday 2nd Dec I randomly subscribed to do this one day without really knowing fully what I had to do. All I knew was that I had to do 12 cold plunges in the month of December and I was all in! (I also saw free hat which is always a nice extra) - first plunge succesful with a small wave that met me as soon as I dunk my shoulders in, a mouthful of lake water that ended up making me have a coughing fit!
