My 100km February Challenge
Sunday 8th FebFebruary is not just another month for me. It’s a month of purpose, discipline, and gratitude.
This month, I committed to running 100 kilometres, not only to challenge myself physically, but to run for the hearts that can’t for those who are fighting heart conditions, those recovering, and those who wish they could move freely but can’t.
Running teaches you many things. It teaches patience. It teaches mental strength. Some days your body feels strong, other days your mind has to carry you. But every kilometre reminds me that being able to run is a privilege.
So far, I have completed 40km, and every step has been a reminder of why I started. Early mornings, tired legs, busy days but the goal stays the same. Keep moving. Keep pushing. Keep showing up.
This journey is not about speed.
It’s about consistency.
It’s about heart.
It’s about running for something bigger than myself.
If you are also chasing a goal this month fitness, family, career, or personal growth keep going. Small steps still move you forward.
Here’s to strong hearts, grateful hearts, and hearts that refuse to give up.
