I am taking part in Walk 100km with your Dog in June Challenge to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation and I’d love your support to help protect hearts in Ireland. ❤️

The Irish Heart Foundation’s mission is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke and to support and care for those living with these life-changing conditions.

Jessie was feeling much better today so we were back to our 3 walks. Over 7km covered brings us to the 149km mark and in terms of fund raising, wee at €975!!!! Cannot thank everyone so so much ❤️

2.3 km covered on a short walk. Jessie was at the vet that day and is getting better

1.8 km covered. Jessie has not been well the last few days so not much walking completed

One walk today, 3.06km in the morning. Jessie not feeling too good in the heat thereafter with a sick tummy and all that comes with it 💩 hopefully back at it tomorrow

5.6 km over two walks… still going strong in the heat! Later evening walks are the way forward 🥵🥵🥵

Working in the office meant one walk with Jessie. 2.12km on a muggy evening!

15th June - we did it!

Sunday 15th Jun
After today’s walks, we did it… 101km completed!! We go again in the morning… plenty more walking to be done!

14th June… Nearly there!

6.39km covered over 3 walks where we got soaked… brings us to 95km!! Nearly there but we’re only half way there. Will continue to go for the month and see what number we land on

4.87km done over 2 walks.. between her lunchtime walk with Aisling and plenty of play in the garden as well as some bath time training, we have a very tired doggo!

A rainy 4.67km bringing our total to 84.57km! I think I spent more time drying Jessie today than walking her! 🤣

Saturday 7th Jun
Busy day and a tired Jessie meant 2 walls. 6.96 km covered. With this we complete week one with 54.62 km completed!! We might reach the 100km quicker than expected but we’ll keep it going. Good for the heart

Day 5 - Back to normality

7.74km covered over 3 walks as I’m back working from home today and tomorrow. Rain couldn’t stop us getting the steps in!

Day 4 - Out for some Cookie!

Back in the office again meant a walk in the morning and one in the evening. Where Jessie met her feline friend, Cookie! He’s a friendly cat and always stops to say hello. Jessie is a big fan if can see in the photo, he’s a bit of a local celeb 🤣 5.34km covered today which brings us to 31.16km in total so far 👍🏻👍🏻

Day 3… Back to Work!

Walks will be shorter when I’m working in the office during the week, as I was today . Still happy with the distance with our two walks today (Aisling does the lunchtime one but we’re only counting mine).. 5.82km covered today which brings us over 25km done so far! Thanks again for all the support, means a lot!

Bank Holiday Strolls…..

Monday 2nd Jun
Day 2 done and 9.52km covered over 4 walks on a sunny but windy bank holiday Monday. Jessie enjoyed a trip out to Portmarnock in the car and we walked the trails of Paddy’s Hill. Great spot for a walk!
