Another lunch break spent lapping blanchardstown centre to get this mileage done... a run this time though, I canmmw prepared.

Was aiming towards the 10km to total 15km for today including the walk but it was a slog and the last km went on forever. Hey ho.... nearly there.

5km lunchtime walk because I can't face another spontaneous half marathon week

The illness lingers and works it's way around various parts of me so a few walking paces are needed to bring the mileage up without absolutely burning myself out.

Monday 24th Feb
The gym held an internal comp and the last workout of the thing was a hyrox sim which helped me get another 5km in the bank.

After the spontaneous half, I've felt under the weather and struggling to get out for anything substantial. Not loosing hope tho.

Another 20km added. Over 1/2 way now.

Tuesday 18th Feb
Thanks to a lovely trip away last week, I was down a few km for my weekly target. That means 1 thing and 1 thing only, the need to ramp it up this week which has inevitably ended in a spontaneous half marathon to get me back on track to hit the 100km. My body is not thanking me but glad it's done as I'll be gutted if I don't make the 100km. It's definitely more than I anticipated and a bit harder to hit than I thought 😅

Inching closer to the halfway point after a nice little 10km. The pizza i had beforehand probably didn't help me too much but fuel is fuel. 🍕

First week done and 25km in the bag. Now just have to keep that going.... nearly didn't do today's run but luckily I have some fabulous friends that push me when I need it and likewise when they need it from me 🥰
