Bruce Hits 100km

Wednesday 25th Jun He’s done it! Our unstoppable Hungarian Vizsla, Bruce, has officially completed his 100KM challenge for the Irish Heart Foundation — and he didn’t let wind, rain, or muddy trails slow him down. Over the course of June, Bruce walked through every kind of Irish weather, wagging his tail and raising awareness for a cause close to all our hearts. With every step, he reminded us of the importance of heart health — for humans and hounds alike. 🐾 The Final Paw Count: Total Distance: 100+ KM Funds Raised: Over €600 (and counting!) Pounding The Pavement

Tuesday 3rd Jun Hail, wind, rain or shine — Bruce is on the loose! Nothing stops this determined Vizsla when he's walking for hearts. Today, Bruce powered through 7.4KM as part of his 100KM challenge for the Irish Heart Foundation. With ears flapping in the wind and paws splashing through puddles, Bruce reminded us all that every step matters — even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. He’s now one big step closer to his 100KM goal and doing it all with that signature Vizsla energy. Share

Bruce’s Big Heart: 100KM for the Irish Heart Foundation

Meet Bruce — our three-year-old Hungarian Vizsla with a heart as big as his paws. Bruce isn’t just a beloved companion; he’s also a four-legged fundraiser who’s already clocked an incredible 300km for a range of charities in his young life. This time, he’s setting his sights — and paws — on something close to all of our hearts: walking 100km for the Irish Heart Foundation.

Like so many others across Ireland, we’ve been touched in one way or another by heart and cardiac-related illness. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or a personal experience, heart health affects us all. That’s why we’ve chosen the Irish Heart Foundation as Bruce’s partner charity this time around.

Bruce’s mission? Walk 100km in the coming weeks — come rain, wind, or the occasional Irish sunshine — to raise awareness and funds for life-saving heart health research, education, and support services. And trust us, Bruce doesn’t skip a step. He’s an energetic, tail-wagging champion of the cause and won’t rest until he’s hit every kilometre with purpose.
