10,000 Steps a Day This September for the Irish Heart Foundation
Tuesday 26th AugThis September, I’ve set myself a challenge: to walk 10,000 steps every day in support of the Irish Heart Foundation. It’s a simple daily goal, but one that adds up to something powerful—not just for my own health, but for raising awareness and funds for a cause that matters to all of us.
Why 10,000 Steps?
Walking 10,000 steps a day is more than just a fitness trend. It’s about moving regularly, protecting your heart, and building a habit that supports long-term health. For me, it’s also about pushing myself to stay consistent and mindful of my wellbeing throughout the month.
Why the Irish Heart Foundation?
Heart disease and stroke are among the leading causes of death in Ireland, but so much of the risk can be reduced through awareness, prevention, and support. The Irish Heart Foundation does incredible work providing education, advocacy, and community programs that save lives every day.
By joining this challenge, I want to do my part to support their mission and to encourage others to take their heart health seriously.
