23 June We made it - another 3km got us over the 100km line
Monday 23rd Jun Delighted to have added another 3km to our running total to bring us to 102km and so we’ve completed our challenge to raise money for Irish Heart Foundation. We’ll keep walking and perhaps a few more euro will come in but we’re very happy with the over 800 euro we raised. Share

Sunday 22nd June 3.7km Dodder
Sunday 22nd Jun Well it started out warm and pleasant but ended up very soggy - bug stoo I’ll ll pleasant. Edging ever closer to our 100km goal Share

3.5km Midsummer 21 June
Saturday 21st Jun We were .8km into our walk through Dodder Park today when I remembered to switch on my walking app - so you’ll have to trust me that it was a total of 3.5km - so close to our 100km target now Share

A sultry 3.3km through Massy’s Wood 19 June
Thursday 19th Jun As the temperature is set to soar we hot and early to the shades of Massy’s Wood today - over the 90km mark now Share

June 18th - a quickie 3.3kmaround Dodder Park
Wednesday 18th Jun A foreshortened walk due to family commitments but we still managed 3.4km Share

Tuesday 17th Jun A short Bushy Park walk today - great to see the cygnets on the pond and children everywhere. And another 2.7km nearer our goal Share

Bloomsday 4.7km to St Enda’s
Monday 16th Jun A gloriously sunny 16 June and a 4.7km to st Enda’s and back. Nearly in the home straight now Share

Another 3.6km nearer our total Sunday 15th June
Sunday 15th Jun Sammy celebrated Father’s Day in style with another 3.6km through Fodder Park. He even got to see a kingfisher at the end of it. Closing in on our 100km target and 760 euro raised Share

Yuk - a wet 2.45km Saturday 14 June
Saturday 14th Jun It rained rained rained but we managed a very local 2.45km and closer to our goal Share

June 13 - a lucky Friday for us with 3.2km
Friday 13th Jun A lovely Dodder walk - the river brown and pesto from yesterday’s rain and another 3.2km towards our total. Share

What a difference a day makes - 2.73km Bushy Park
Thursday 12th Jun A very wet walk in Bushy Park today so a shorter 2.73km. But still closer to our goal and a generous donation has brought our fundraising total to 750 euro, which was our target! We’re drr we lighted Share

A glorious 6km along the Dodder from Churchtown to Clonskeagh
Wednesday 11th Jun The sun was sparkling, the fish were jumping and gadflies flouted during a delightful 6.1km round walk along the Fodder from Churchtown to Clonskeagh Share
