Wednesday 17th Dec
DIP #6 Secret location close to Co. Galway. (Mayo For Sam!) 7c air temp, ice cold water at 2c. Todays theme was Gilly McLaughlan an AFL host, kind of an inside joke (excuse my terrible Aussie / Cockney accent). The Lough gets fairly deep quickly so I hope you enjoy the little swim, I promise i do them in half of these dips and was frozen afterwards. Wednesday 17th Dec
DIP #5 Blackrock, Salthill, Co. Galway. 11c air temp (supposedly), rough waters at 4c (again very cold) todays theme was ugly pyjamas and my little elf wanted cheered me on the entire time. The dip was followed prior and after by terrential rain that i nearly counted in the 12 dips 🤣. Thanks to those who have donated so far and if you can every little helps. Monday 8th Dec
DIP #4 Lough Derg, Portumna, Co. Galway. 3c air temp and ice cold water in Lough Derg, todays theme was Jester and my little elf wanted to join in. The point I entered the Lough was incredibly deep so i had to use the swim bouy, had a quick paddle but was cold to the core. DIP #3 Ladies Bay, Salthill, Co. Galway. 8c air temp and a cool 4c in the Galway Bay, sporting the local Connacht Regalia i fully punted a rock just under the surface of the water. DIP #2 Irish Heart Foundation. Silver Strand, Co. Galway. 4c air temp and hawiian beach wear theme for some reason, the water was low tide so had to go pretty far to get under water. Hopefully you could see. Donations at link below if you can, otherwise please share my page and progress. Thankyou
